Joyce Dianne (Hill) Embry

Mrs. Joyce Dianne Hill Embry, 61, a resident of Thomasville, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 in her residence. She was born in Davidson County on January 19, 1959 to Harold Calvin and Vivian Hartsell Hill. She worked for Thomasville Furniture Industries for many years, then went on to work for Rotork Fairchild Company in Winston-Salem. On January 1, 1999 she married Eddie Smith Embry. Mrs. Embry loved Summertime, traveling to the beach, and going to the pool. However, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Embry was a member of Pinedale Christian Church in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Jeffrey Hill.

Mrs. Embry is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Eddie Embry, of the home; a son, Rusty Walser and wife Kelly of Clemmons; a daughter, Amber Roberts and husband J.R. of Thomasville; step-daughter, Misty Embry of Thomasville; brothers, Harold and Michael Hill, both of Thomasville; sisters, Belinda Causey and Angela Singletary and husband Roger, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kanaan, Jaiden, Aubrey, Jalyn, and Paitlyn; several nieces and nephews, and a fur-baby, Lulu.
