Joyce Leigh (Beck) Imbler

Mrs. Joyce Leigh Beck Imbler, 82, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at her home. She was born on May 6, 1943 in Davidson County to her parents, Ethel Thornburg Beck and Woodrow Lee Beck. Joyce attended Fairview Church and in her younger years, was part of the Methodist Women group and helped teach Sunday School. She was a caregiver and homemaker to her family for most of her life. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Thornburg Beck and Woodrow Lee Beck.

Surviving are her four children, Weldon Imbler, II of Thomasville, Glenn Imbler of Lexington, Melody Imbler Hooker and husband Brian of Winston-Salem, and Lisa Imbler Sink and husband Kevin of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Chase Imbler, Alex Imbler, and Connor Sink; one great-grandchild, Maeleigh Imbler; and one brother, Larry Beck.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Fairview Church, 2876 Old Greensboro Road, Thomasville, NC. The family will greet friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank her CNA, Allison for her patience and love she gave Joyce. We would also like to thank her son, Weldon for all the years of love and support he showed his mother during this difficult Parkinson’s journey.
