Joyce "Chris" Christine (Stack) Loflin

Mrs. Joyce “Chris” Christine Stack Loflin, 71, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 8, 1954 in Guilford County to her parents, Patricia Ann Motley Trimnal and Charles Mickey. Chris worked several years as an educator with Thomasville City Schools, spending most of her years at the Primary School. One of her biggest joys in life was spending time with her family, helping raise her granddaughter, and special shopping trips with her girlfriends. She is preceded in death by her son, Patrick “PuttPutt” Loflin; her father, Charles Edward Mickey; and her stepfather, James Trimnal.

Surviving is her husband of over 40 years, Lanny L. Loflin of the home; her son, John Michael Loflin; her granddaughter, Abby Loflin; her mother, Patricia Ann Motley Stack Trimnal; her brother, Jimmy Stack and wife Mimi; and several extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 4:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
