Judy Irene (Kindley) Grubb

Judy Irene Kindley Grubb, 75, of Thomasville passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at Hinkle Hospice House. Judy was born January 31, 1951 in Davidson County to the late Jacob Lee Kindley and Bertha Hunt Kindley.  Judy worked many years at Carolina Underwear and later for Lowes Millwork, from which she retired. She loved to go to the beach, shopping, but most of all spending time with her beloved family. Judy was a faithful wife, mom, sister, grandma and friend; she will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Charlie, Carl, Robert, Glenn, Odell, Bill, and Garland Kindley; three sisters, Magdalene Sheffield, Pauline Hughes and Fannie Bullins.

Surviving is her loving husband of 57 years, Michael Grubb of the home; daughter, Renee Cook (Chris Lee); son, David Grubb; one brother, Paul Kindley; four grandchildren, Owen Grubb, Olivia Grubb, Isabella Cook (Jacob Jewell) and Skylar Cook.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Jeff Mabe officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM at the funeral home.
