Judy Phillips Jernigan

Mrs. Judy Phillips Jernigan, 57, of Thomasville went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Judy was born on May 7, 1963 to the late James “Jimmy” Arthur Phillips and Betty Wilson Phillips in Orange County, CA. She loved people and enjoyed others company. Most of all, she was a wonderful wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by three sisters, Carol, Rachael and Becky. Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Arnold Jernigan of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Jernigan of Lexington, Julie Jernigan of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Linda Sylvia of Thomasville; a brother, Michael Phillips; two sisters, Vickie Scarboro and husband Tubby, Abby Teer; two granddaughters, Mackenzie Cranford and London Cranford.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with Pastor Adam Johnson officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
