Judy Louise (Hemric) Rogers Obituary

Judy Hemric Rogers, 68, of Lexington finished her courageous fight with cancer and entered her eternal rest, July 13, 2026 at her residence.


Judy was born October 22, 1957, daughter of the late Harold William Hemric and Vinnie Louise Hall Hemric of Macon County, GA. She was a woman of exceptional work ethic, often working multiple jobs to provide the best for her family. In her free time, Judy enjoyed playing her Ms. Pac-Man Arcade Game and loved collecting elephants as a hobby. Her love for her family and friends will last forever.


In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Jamie Sue Hemric.


Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 52 years, Freddie Rogers of the home; children, Jason Rogers and wife Stacey of Lexington, Starla Rogers Johnson of Thomasville; five siblings, Harold Dean Hemric and wife Norma Gail of SC, Hoyt William Hemric of High Point, Kandi H. Jerigan and husband Kip of MI, Jill H. Franzen and husband Scott, and Kelly H. Bergen both of FL; five grandchildren, Marty Johnson, Matthew Johnson, William Rogers, Kierstyn Rogers, and Luke Rogers; many nieces and nephews.


A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville with Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. No formal visitation or viewing will be held.


The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Ray Howell and the staff of Lexington Cancer Center for their loving care. Memorials may be given to the cancer organization of the donor’s choice.
