Kathryn Leonard Obituary

Mrs. Kathryn Joan Lockhart Leonard, 85, a resident of Thomasville, NC passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1935 in Page County, Iowa the daughter of the late Lyle Lockhart and Sarah Kathryn Ellis Lockhart. She worked in the furniture industry for many years and was a member of Green Street Baptist Church in High Point, NC.

She was married Dec. 23, 1956 to Kenneth J. Leonard who survives of the home. Also surviving are, one daughter, April A. Ata of South Carolina; two sons, Larry Leonard of Modesto, CA and Stephen Alan Leonard of Thomasville, NC; one sister, Pat Padgett of MS; one brother, Bobbie Lockhart of MS; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Leonard will be cremated and there will be a memorial service Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Green Street Baptist Church in High Point, NC.
