Kathryn Josephine Clinard Moore, 99, of High Point passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Kathryn was born in Guilford County, NC, a daughter of the late Raymond Edgar Clinard and the late Mary Catherine Spurgeon Clinard. A lifelong resident of the Guilford/Davidson County area she was a nursing assistant/CNA at High Point Reginal Hospital for twenty years retiring in 1992. In addition to her nursing career, Kathryn was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife helping her family raise tobacco, an excellent cook and always took care of her family and was a member of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-law Jack and Laura Clinard and her brother-in-law Robert Johnson. On June 3, 1944 Kathryn married the love of her life Charlie Elwood Moore who passed away September 26,2011.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda Russell and her husband John and Rebecca Webster and her husband Mark all of High Point; her sister, Patty Johnson of High Point; her grandchildren, Janet Ritchie (Bobby), Alan Russell, Jeremiah Webster (Christa), Jacob Webster (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Zach Ritchie (Ashley),Mary Katherine Huggins (Britt), Miller Webster, Brooklyn Webster and Dylan Webster; great-great grandchildren, Hayes Ritchie, Hudson Ritchie, Palmer Huggins and Parker Huggins.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Livengood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 PM Sunday at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home (Wallburg)10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 2817 Abbotts Creek Church Road, high Point, NC 27265 or to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
