Kathy Kay (Harris) Berrier

Mrs. Kathy Kay Harris Berrier, 65, of Thomasville passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 2, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Kathy was born September 24, 1956 in Davidson County to the late James Harold Harris and Hazel Hegler Harris.  Kathy was a faithful member of Emanuel Reformed Church. Kathy devoted her life to helping and serving others; especially children. She worked many years as a Preschool teacher at Fair Grove United Methodist Church Kingdom Kids. Most recently she was employed at Fair Grove Family Resources. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and spoiling her precious grandsons. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; she will be greatly missed by so many. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Harris; one aunt, Irma Woods.

Surviving is her loving husband, Randall C. Berrier of the home; two daughters, Tina Haltom and husband Robbie, Jamie Passmore; one brother, Ricky Harris and wife Karen; one sister, Treva Morris and husband Henry; five grandsons, AJ Haltom, Dylan Rowe, Mason Haltom, Brandon Rowe, Landon Rowe. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends; a beloved neighbor, Margaret Waldon; and numerous children that she has taught and made an impact in their life over the years.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Emanuel Reformed Church in Thomasville with Rev. Ricky Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
