Kathy Marie (Eddinger) Embry

Mrs. Kathy Marie Eddinger Embry, 67, of Thomasville passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. Kathy was born November 22, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late David Marshall Eddinger and Shirley Griffie Eddinger. She was a member of Rich Fork Church, which she loved dearly. Kathy worked many years in the Furniture Industry. Kathy lived life to the fullest; she was a strong, determined and independent woman. She enjoyed being outside working in her yard. The greatest joy in life was the time spent and memories made with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Embry; one brother, William Bryce Eddinger. 

Surviving are her two children, Kenneth Comer and wife Ariel and Bobbie Norton; one sister, Teresa Eddinger and wife Patty Brintle; one brother, David Wayne Eddinger and wife Marjorie; three beloved grandchildren, Dalton Comer, Haydin Davis and Leevi Kirby; she also leaves behind a “adopted” daughter, Heather D. Myers.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Michael Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
