Kathy Grissom Obituary
Kathy Lynn Grissom, 69, a resident of Thomasville, passed away Monday evening June 8, 2026 at her home. Kathy was born May 17, 1957, in Davidson County, NC, to Ann Causey Gamble and the late Phillip Gary Grissom. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a customer service agent for many years.
In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon VanDenzen and a sister, Barbara Kale.
Surviving is her mother, Anne Gamble; two brothers, Patrick Gamble and Tony Grissom; a sister, Dawna Molton; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn M. Ahmed, Nicholas Brisson, Meredith Bowers, Charlston VanDenzen; and several great-grandchildren.
