Keith Miller

Keith Miller, a lifelong resident of Trinity, NC, passed away on October 21st, 2025 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Dora Peace Miller; his father, William Walker Miller; and his sister, Beverly Miller Kirby of Gastonia, NC.

Keith is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Linda Hedrick Miller; his beloved children, Lisa Miller Sexton and her husband Jeff Sexton, along with their daughter Emilie Sexton; Alanna Miller Thornbury and her husband Neil Thornbury, and their children Reece Thornbury and Walker Thornbury; and Jessica Miller Clem and her husband Eric Clem, and their children Blake Clem, and twins, Josie and Elle Clem. He also leaves behind cherished nieces, Melanie Splawn and her husband Scott of Gastonia, and Windy Gibson and her husband David of Cherryville.

Keith achieved his diesel mechanic license in Nashville, TN, before enlisting in the United States Army, where he proudly served for three years and attained the rank of E5 Sergeant during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a successful 30-year career as an independent diesel mechanic. He also worked with Carolina Southern and Carolina Pacific, earning respect for his dedication, expertise, and skilled workmanship.

Keith found great joy in working on his family farm and cherished moments spent grilling with friends and family. He was a selfless and loyal man, always ready to help those around him. To be called a friend by Keith was to know unwavering support and steadfast dedication.

Visitation will be held at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 12:00pm - 1:30pm on Sunday, October 26, 2025. A private family graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2:00pm at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society, North Carolina Chapter in his honor. Keith will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
