Mr. Kenneth Charles Gibson, 74, a resident of Sunset Lane passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Hinkle Hospice Home. He was born Jan. 7, 1948 in Davidson County, NC the son of the late Roy Gibson and Clarice Curry Gibson. He was a carver in the furniture industry for many years. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening in his vegetable garden. His favorite NASCAR driver was Mark Martin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Lambeth and a brother, Roy “Bud” Gibson. Surviving is his lifelong girlfriend, Penny Woods of the home; one daughter, Tammy Darnell Gibson of the home; one son, Kenneth Dale Gibson of Thomasville; one sister, Elizabeth Saintsing and husband Larry of Thomasville.
