Kevin Frank Watts, 66, of Thomasville, passed away January 13, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center, following a short illness.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Frank Watts and Edith Baity Watts, and grandparents. He is survived by several cousins, an uncle, an aunt, and his partner, Dr. Karen Gwynn. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Printzy and Gabriel, and a special cat. Kevin never said no to any creature that needed help, and always took in any stray animal he encountered.
Kevin graduated from UNCG’s nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and had several other degrees in the medical field. He practiced nursing for a few years and then found a calling in a home oxygen business serving those in need. Kevin also ran a business selling real estate and refurbishing old homes.
One of his greatest accomplishments was a historic home he restored on the campus of UNCG.
