Landon Shelton Obituary
Mr. Landon Shelton, 83, a resident of Sink Lake Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the home of his son, Tommy. He was born on March 10, 1939 in Hartford, Cocke County, TN to Walter Brownlow Shelton and Audrey Ball Shelton. He worked the majority of his life in the furniture industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Craig Shelton; brothers, Carson Shelton, Bobby Shelton, and Paul Shelton; and a sister, Zella Mae Collins.
Surviving is his son, Tommy Shelton and wife Donna of Lexington; longtime companion, Christine Humphry; six grandchildren, Wayne Shelton, Bradley Shelton, Tyler Shelton, Jacob Shelton, Sarah Shelton, and Ryan Shelton; and five great-grandchildren, Isaac Shelton, Colton Shelton, Landon Shelton, Riley Shelton, and Braelynn Shelton.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Pastor Gary Brown officiating.
