Obituary
Ms. Laresa Bryant Byrd, 57, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at her home. She was born on June 13, 1965 in Davidson County to her parents, Judy Leonard Bryant and Darrell Bryant. Laresa attended East Davidson High School and worked several years as a bartender at O’Brian’s and Ham’s Restaurant. In her spare time, she enjoyed cheering on Tony Stewart and the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved animals and decorating for the holidays.
Surviving is her parents, Darrell and Judy Bryant of Thomasville; two children, Lindsay Davis (Tyler) and Trey Byrd (Polly), both of Sophia; granddaughter, Chesney Davis; two brothers, Kirk Bryant (Angie) and Shannon Bryant (Meredith), both of Thomasville; and two nieces, Kinsley Hawks (Kolton) and Morgan Bryant.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Jackson Creek Baptist Church in Denton. The family will greet friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Burial will follow the service at Cid United Methodist Church in Lexington.
