Larry Eugene Burnett, graduate of Davie High School and resident of the Oaks Nursing Facility in Winston-Salem, went to his heavenly mansion that Jesus Christ his Savior had prepared. There was a great celebration in heaven when he was ushered in into the presence of Jesus Christ and many family members that preceded him. He lived in Davie County and made numerous friends during his lifetime with his wit and humor. He touched so many lives with his gentleness, kindness, unselfishness and Wonderful Smile. His favorite baseball team was the Atlanta Braves. He thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with the weather forecast. He was the family meteorologist. He very much enjoyed Professional Wrestling and attended events in Winston-Salem and Greensboro to see some of the big names in the sport. We’ll miss you Larry and want you to know how much you were loved.
