Latonia “Toni” Ann Williams Varner, 69, of High Point passed away peacefully at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center on Monday, December 6, 2021. Toni was born January 8, 1952 in Davidson County to the late Thomas Edward Williams and Betty Ann Kennedy Williams. She was a member of God’s House of Prayer in High Point. Toni was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed watching movies and TV shows like, The Waltons and The Real McCoy’s. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandbabies; Minnie, Pooh, Freddie, Wrinkles, Wiggles, Lib, Owie, Hills. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pamela Jane Thompson, Janice Gayle Miller, Deborah Lynn Ahmed; one brother, Gary Thomas Williams.
Surviving is her loving husband, Steven Gray Varner, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Tabitha Munesy and husband Vay of Thomasville; two sons, Steven Varner, Jr. of High Point, Bryan Andrew Varner and wife Lisa of Timberlake, NC; one sister, Sharon Kay Williams Campbell and husband Wayne of Archdale; five grandchildren, Jason Daniel Varner and wife Amber of Creedmore, NC, Ashley Vay Munesy of Thomasville, Vay Andrew Munesy and wife Stephanie of Thomasville, Bryanna Leigh Cole and husband Ebon of Laurenburg, NC, Madyson Annette Varner of High Point; nine great-grandchildren, Aiden Selenschek, Alexis Munesy, Alyvia Munesy, Owen Munesy, Amelia Munesy, Alexander Varner, Lincoln Varner, Brielle Cole, Zayla Munesy.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Jack Holder and Rev. Ronnie Everhart officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Brenners Children’s Hospital Cancer Research, Wake Forest Baptist Health, note "Brenner Children's, P.O.
