Laura Ann (Hunt) Brawley

Mrs. Laura Ann Hunt Brawley, 54, of Thomasville passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Laura was born June 09, 1966 in Davidson County to Charlie “Swede” Hunt and Judith “Judy” Kirkman Hunt. She was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was very active in serving her church from being a choir member to serving on the prayer line ministry. She enjoyed shopping; especially at Costco and Hobby Lobby. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, nana and friend, she will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her loving husband of 18 years, Richard “Rick” Brawley of the home; two daughters, Brandy Butler and husband Michael and Amanda Brawley; her parents, Charlie and Judy Hunt; four sisters, Amy Begley and husband Deacon, Kelly Hulin and husband Allen, Evelyn McWilliams and husband Terry, Robin Gibbs and husband Mike; one grandson, Mason Butler; she also leaves behind 12 beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Community Baptist Church in Lexington with Rev. Brian Workman and Terry McWilliams officiating.
