Laura Lucille Willard Clinard

Mrs. Laura Lucille Willard Clinard, 95, of High Point, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Westchester Manor at Providence Place.  She was born on September 24, 1929 in Guilford County, Jamestown, NC to Clifton Cornelius Willard and Clara Esther Tucker Willard.  She worked early in her career as a bookkeeper at R.K. Stewart & Son and later continued her bookkeeping career working with her late husband Jack, at Clinard Oil Company.  She was a member of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a former trustee and ambassador.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charlie Jackson “Jack” Clinard on April 16, 2019; three brothers; and four sisters.

Surviving are her two sons, Kelly Lee Clinard and his wife Beverly of High Point and Kirk Willard Clinard and his wife Angela of High Rock Lake; her brother, Harold Willard; her two sisters, Gail Hyatt and Carma Charping; six grandchildren, Cameron Clinard and his wife Cameron, Kristin Clinard Deal and her husband Clifton, Erica Clinard, Kasey Clinard, Madison Clinard, and Dylan Clinard and his wife Fuki; two great-grandchildren, Silas Kirk Clinard and Elora Blake Clinard; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, which family and friends are invited, will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Livengood and Rev. David Clemmons officiating.  A reception to greet friends and family will immediately follow the memorial service.
