Lee Edward Beers, Sr.

Mr. Lee Edward Beers, Sr., 76, a resident of Tennessee Ave., passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  He was born on December 25, 1944 in Binghamton, Broome County, NY to Charles Thomas Beers and Helen Marie Colsten Beers.  He was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.  He retired after 20+ years with Cascade Die Casting and loved camping and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Allen Beers and Timothy Lee Beers; and a sister, Darlene Finch.

Surviving are his children, April Lea Beers of NY, Lee Edward Beers, Jr. of NY, and Jason Michael Beers and fiancée Kristeena Miller of Thomasville; brothers, David Beers and wife Beth, Philip Beers and wife Erika, all of NY and Charlie Beers of VA; sisters, Linda Bragaglia and husband Ray Lanning of Greensboro, Lori Holcomb and husband Matt and Lisa Silvanac and husband Rob, all of NY; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Finch of NY; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with full military rites provided by the NC National Guard Honor Guard and the Davidson County Honor Guard will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Bynum Orr officiating.  Mr. Beers will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until the hour of the graveside service.
