Leonard Justice "Bud" Martin, Jr.

Mr. Leonard Justice “Bud” Martin, Jr., age 76, of the Wallburg Community passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home.  He was born on February 7, 1949 to the late Leonard and Dovie Lawson Martin, Sr.  Bud served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a faithful member of Berean Baptist Church.  Bud was an old Ford enthusiast owning several older cars and trucks. He will be missed by his many friends at Cagney’s Restaurant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Caulder Martin, and daughter, Shannon M. Davis.

Bud is survived by a brother, Terry Martin of Winston-Salem; half-brother, Sammy Parrish; half-sister, Jane; nieces and nephews; and former son-in-law/best friend, Randy Davis and wife, Jenny.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Ron Baity and Rev. Dr. Joe Long officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.  Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.  Memorial gifts may be directed to Berean Baptist Church, 4135 Thomasville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
