Leroy Theodore Harper Obituary

Mr. Leroy Theodore Harper, 90, a resident of Concord Street, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 7, 1929 in McKinney, TX to Sterling Elijah Harper and Wanda Rose Bowman Harper, both of whom preceded him in death.

He worked in the textile industry for 48+ years and retired from Parkdale Mills. He was a US Army veteran.

On January 17, 1950, he married Bettie Marclene Beam, who survives of the home; also surviving is his daughter, Betty Joanne Hall of the home; brother, George Harper of Southport, NC; sister, Doris Leifeste of Washington, DC; two grandsons, Johnny Harper and girlfriend, Selina and Larry Hall and wife Karen; great-granddaughter, Grace Hall; and nephew, Brian Leifeste.
