Lillian Ruth Scarboro Decker Obituary
Mrs. Lillian Ruth Scarboro Decker, 96, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1927 in Davidson County, NC to Myrtle Byerly Scarboro. She lived in Baltimore with her husband Bob and worked at Black and Decker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Decker; her sons, Donnie Lee Woodle and Mickey Ray Woodle; and her brother, Howard “Chuck” Scarboro.
Surviving are several cousins and extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Bob Summers officiating. Interment will follow in Thomasville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
