Lyman Lane Obituary

Mr. Lyman Gene Lane, 92, of Lexington went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at his residence. Lyman was born December 15, 1929 in Kansas to the late Oral Trumble Lane and Nancy Klier Lane. He was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Lyman lived life to the fullest, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Wade Lane on July 23, 2014; three brothers, Carl Lane, Bill Lane, and Jack Lane.

Surviving is his son, Wade Lane and wife Carolyn of the home; two sisters, Shirley Sybert of Pittsburg, KS and Joanne Biancarelli of Cherokee, KS; one brother, Charles Lane and wife Helen of Rose Hill, KS; two grandchildren, Sean Lane and Anne Lane.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at McGonigle Cemetery in Crawford County, Kansas. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 West St. John Street, Girard, KS 66743.
