Mable Frady Freeman

Mrs. Mable Frady Freeman, 83, a resident of West Thomas Drive, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at her home.  She was born on June 25, 1936 in Buncombe County, Asheville, NC to Vernon Hampton Frady and Lula Jones Frady.  She worked for Thomasville Furniture Industries and Thomas Company in the finishing room and in housekeeping at Thomasville Medical Center.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Freeman; her daughter, Debbie Freeman Wilde; and her brothers, Harvey Frady, Mack Frady, and Bud Frady.

Surviving is her daughter, Susan Gail Freeman and husband Mark Austin of Thomasville; sisters, Helen Teague of Asheville and Betty Shipman of Hendersonville; sisters-in-law, Betty Brooks and husband Butch of Fuquay Varina, and Lena Register of Thomasville; brother-in-law, Johnny Freeman and wife Marlene of Fuquay Varina; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mrs. Freeman will lie in state at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30 PM.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
