Madeline Deese Tysinger

Frances Madeline “Mat” Deese Tysinger, 96, a life-long resident of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Hospice House of the Piedmont. She was born February 27, 1929, in Davidson County to the late Craven L. Deese and Bertie Sullivan Deese. Madeline graduated high school, attended Jones Business School and was employed most recently as an accountant at Mickey Truck Body. Madeline was married to Kenneth Roy Tysinger for 68 years until his death in 2016.   Madeline was a faithful member of Carolina Memorial Baptist Church since 1954. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and genealogy.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Madeline is preceded in death by two sisters and a nephew.

Madeline is survived by her son, Kenneth Roy Tysinger, Jr. and wife Beverly of Fort Mill, SC; two grandchildren, Ryan Tysinger and Anna Kathryn Tysinger; a great-grandson, Liam Tysinger; a nephew, Don Harrington.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Memorial Baptist Church 422 Liberty Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.   Online condolences may be left for the Tysinger family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
