Manuel "Manny" Lopez Melendez

El Sr. Manuel “Manny” López Meléndez, de 57 años, de Thomasville, falleció el miércoles 10 de mayo de 2023 en Wake Forest Atrium Health en Winston-Salem. Manuel nació el 17 de junio de 1965 en México, hijo de Jesús López y Micaela Lopez Meléndez.  Manuel asistió a la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Los Caminos.  Trabajó durante muchos años como electricista.  Manuel siempre fue un hombre alegre y positivo, al que le encantaba cantar y bailar y disfrutaba escuchando a los Beatles.  Le encantaba ver a sus hijos jugar al fútbol.  Manuel será extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron.

Con la que compartio 31 años de casados, Reyna López Paniagua del hogar; tres hijos, Manuel López, Javier López, Daniel López; cinco hermanos, Jesús López, Juan López, Guadalupe López, Gerardo López, Rosa López; un nieto, Mateo López; muchos otros miembros de la familia.

Un funeral sellevará a cabo el viernes 12 de mayo de 2023 a las 8:00 PM en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de las Carreteras, 943 Ballpark Road, Thomasville.  El velorio se llevará a cabo de 3:00 PM a 7:00 PM en J.C. Mr. Manuel “Manny” Lopez Melendez, 57, of Thomasville passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Wake Forest Atrium Health in Winston-Salem. Manuel was born June 17, 1965 in Mexico to the late Jesus Lopez and Micaela Melendez Lopez.  Manuel attended Our Lady of the Highways Catholic Church.  He worked for many years as an electrician.  Manuel was always a joyful and positive man, who loved to sing and dance and enjoyed listening to the Beatles.  He loved to watch his boys play soccer.  Manuel will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Reyna Lopez Paniagua of the home; three sons, Manuel Lopez, Javier Lopez, Daniel Lopez; five siblings, Jesus Lopez, Juan Lopez, Guadalupe Lopez, Gerardo Lopez, Rosa Lopez; a grandson, Mateo Lopez; many other family members.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 8:00 PM at Our Lady of the Highways Catholic Church, 943 Ballpark Road, Thomasville.  A viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J.C.
