Obituary
Mrs. Marcia Gail Hayes Barringer, 71, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at her home. She was born on June 27, 1952 in Colorado to the late Lucille Olson Hayes and Thomas William Hayes. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching drag-racing, sewing & crafts, and cooking for her family. She especially enjoyed rides with her husband in their Hellcat. Marcia was a true servant to her family and friends and she will be dearly missed.
Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Charles Barringer of the home; two daughters, Susan Michelle Key (Jason) and Tamera Annette Watkins (Jeff); two sons, Jason Lee Barringer and Steven Ray Barringer (Mary); two grandchildren, Brennan Seth Turner (Taylor) and Leah Danielle Barringer; great-grandchild, Charlie Kaye Hunt; three brothers, Mike Hayes, Dave Hayes, and Kevin Hayes; three fur-babies, Pepper, Max, and Jaxs; and several extended family members and friends.
A gathering of friends to celebrate Marcias’s life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.
