Margie Marie Pierce Wilson

Margie Marie Pierce Wilson, 88, of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on January 31, 1938 in Davidson County, Thomasville, NC to Everette Lee Pierce and Cora Elizabeth Morris Pierce.  Margie loved her family, loved to travel with friends to the mountains, and loved to shop.  She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and Margie was a wonderful caregiver to her sister, Panzie, for several years before her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Linvel Pierce and Glenn Pierce; and her sister, Panzie Pierce Decker.

Surviving are cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Steve Manley officiating.  Mrs. Wilson will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home until taken to the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the graveside service.  She will lie in repose at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM for members of the community to pay their respects.
