Mark Clyde Motsinger

Mr. Mark Clyde Motsinger, 69, a resident of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Mark was born April 17, 1952 in Davidson County, NC a son of the late Clyde Julius Motsinger and the late Elizabeth Ann Manning Motsinger and had made this area his home all of his life. He was owner and operator of Motsinger Electric, loved farming and Allis-Chalmers tractors. Mark was an active member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, the Methodist Men, sang in the choir and was dedicated to the church in anyway he could be of service. He would lend a helping hand to friends, neighbors and anyone who needed him. Mark was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. On May 6, 2007 he married Rita Faye Lanier who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his son, Aaron Mark Motsinger (Emily) of Raleigh, NC; step-sons, Jason Hughes (Amanda) of Wallburg, NC, Donald Hughes (Stacey) of Lexington, NC;; daughter, Christen Wilson (Chip) of High Point, NC; brother, Brian Motsinger (Amy) of Winston-Salem, NC; step-grandson, Seth Hughes and a grandchild “on the way”.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lebaube officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Winston-Salem (Wallburg Community).
