Martha Louise (Griffin) Meadows

Martha Griffin Meadows, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 while at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC with her family by her side. She was born on October 1, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Clyde and Alma Watson Griffin of Kernersville.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Meadows; brother, Tommy Griffin; and several other in-laws.

Surviving are her two daughters, Shelia Key and husband Brian of Mt. Airy, and Hope Meadows Day of Welcome; son, Sam Meadows of Winston-Salem; granddaughter, Sarah Buffaloe and husband Justin of Clemmons; and grandson, Jacob Key of Mt. Airy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Wallburg with the Rev. Alan Hutchens officiating. Private entombment will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at the funeral home, 10301 N. NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem.
