Mary Ann Bell Obituary

Mrs. Mary Ann Albright Bell, 72, of Denton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday January 21, 2021. Mary Ann was born March 21, 1948 in Davidson County to the late Ray Winfred Albright and Doris Younts Albright. She was a faithful member of Hillside Park Baptist Church and loved her church dearly. Mary Ann worked many years as a CNA and house keeper at Mt. Vista Nursing Home in Denton. Her greatest job in life was watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and even left Mt. Vista Nursing Home to watch her little blessings throughout the years. Mary Ann had a true servant’s heart. She always had a smile on her face and spending time with her family brought great joy to her. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; she will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her loving husband of 53 years, Kermit Herman Bell of the home; one son, Kermit Ray Bell and wife Betty; one daughter, Carol Metcalf and husband Ronnie; two sisters, Margaret Hepler and husband Clayton, Judy Williard and husband Forrest; five grandchildren, Joshua Metcalf, Brandon Bell (Hannah), Holly Worley and husband Anthony, Aaron Bell and wife Valerie, Logan Bell; six great-grandbabies, Addilyn Worley, Braelynn Bell, Savannah Worley, Rylie Bell, and two bundles of joy on the way; she also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Park Baptist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Dr. Steve Chipps and Rev. Dale Kinley officiating. Interment will follow at Denton City Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 PM. Due to COVID-19, mask and social distancing is recommended. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Hillside Park Baptist Church, PO Box 441, Thomasville, NC 27361.
