Mayberry Strickland, Jr.

Mayberry Strickland, Jr., 60, of Trinity passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Atrium Health High Point Medical Center. Mayberry was born May 5, 1965 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Mayberry Strickland, Sr. and Geneva Marlowe Strickland. He worked many years in the furniture industry. He will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Clay Strickland.

Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Tracy Rabon Strickland of the home; one son, Jonathan Kennedy and fiancé Angel of Trinity; one daughter, Heather Kennedy of Silver Valley; three sisters, Lisa Evans and husband Darrell of Silver Valley, Wanda Nobles and husband Harold, and Teresa Abonza and husband Estabon, all of Columbus County, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Jonathan Lemmings, Alexis Kennedy, Eli Kennedy, and Ean Kennedy.
