Michael Shawne Morgan

Michael Shawne Morgan, 65, of Thomasville passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at his

home with his wife by his side. Michael was born July 22, 1958 in Guilford County to

Junior Morgan and Barbara Edwards Morgan. He attended Trinity High School. He

worked as an Electrician for many years. Michael enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and

hanging out by the fire pit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Edwards

Morgan on September 30, 2006.

Surviving is his wife of 29 years, Tanya Clark Morgan, of the home; two sons, Zachery

Morgan, Matthew Quinn; his father, Junior Morgan and step-mother Frances Morgan;

four brothers, Dennis Morgan and wife Beverly, Keith Morgan, Tim Morgan and wife

Angela, John Morgan and wife Tammie; two sisters, Donna Walker, Kimberly Wilkes;

four granddaughters; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with Kayle

Tesh and Braylen Rierson, special friends of the family. He also leaves behind his much loved pets, Rocket,

Shadow, Demon, John Lennon, and Spicy.
