Michael "Mike" Butcher Obituary
Mr. Michael Eugene Butcher, 50, a resident of Trinity passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in High Point. He was born on November 16, 1971 in Thomasville to Andrew Martin Butcher and Joann Wood Fife. Michael worked many years with his family at Ace Furniture in Thomasville. Before working at Ace, he drove a furniture delivery truck for Sun Delivery. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, or watching sports. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joann Wood Fife.
Mike was the one person we could all count on No Matter what was needed and he will be greatly missed.
In 1994 he married, Katherine Young Butcher who survives of the home. Also surviving are his father, Andrew Butcher and wife Vickie; three brothers, Andrew Butcher (Elizabeth), Timmy Butcher (Jamie), and Christopher Simpson (Jennifer); one daughter, Rebecca Young (Erica); loving dog, Mia; and numerous extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hospice Organization of the donor’s choice.
