Mr. Michael “Mike” Giles Carden, 70, a resident of High Point, NC passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 1, 1950 in Guilford County, NC the son of the late Claude Homer Carden and Ethel Lee Davis Carden. He worked in the furniture industry many years and was of the Methodist Faith. Mike loved fishing and traveling. His favorite television shows were Super Natural TV and Star Trek. He was married June 12, 1968 to Elizabeth Lakita Harvell Carden who survives of the home. Also surviving is one daughter, Michelle Carden of Raleigh, NC; one son, Lance Carden and wife Lee of Trinity, NC; one sister, Claudette Gobble of Thomasville, NC; one brother, Bill Carden and wife Joyce of Trinity, NC; six grandchildren, Landon Carden, Kendra Carden, Destiny Locklear, Dylan Locklear, Isabelle Carden and Chance Delappe; one great-grandson, Carter Scott.
