Nancy Elizabeth (Morgan) Whitaker

Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Morgan Whitaker, 83, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehab. She was born on May 2, 1942 in Burke County to her parents, the late James Morgan and Mary Anthony Morgan. Nancy worked several years at Wright Line and she attended Charity Baptist Church. In her pastime, she enjoyed cooking for her family.

Surviving is her two sons, Lee Whitaker and Carolyn Welsh of Trinity, and Johnny Whitaker and wife Cheryl of Thomasville; several siblings; three grandchildren, Gregory Scott Whitaker, Tera Lynn Whitaker Staley, and Hannah Michelle Whitaker; two great-grandchildren, Oliver Stinger and Lainey Staley.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Floral Garden Park in High Point. The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
