Nancy Louise Passmore Cowart Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Louise Passmore Cowart, 87, a resident of Aycock Street, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the home of her son, David. She was born on December 18, 1934 in Macon County, NC to Philip Passmore and Mamie Louise Scott Passmore. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Cowart on June 2, 1985, whom she married on August 13, 1955; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving is her son, David Allen Cowart and wife Addie of Thomasville; three grandchildren, David Allen Cowart, Jr. and wife Theresa, Kimberly Dawn Johnson and husband Randy, and Casey Daniel Cowart and wife Tracy; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Lex Passmore; sisters, Lacy Cowart, Exive Hockett, and Nellie Cowart and husband Earl; and her pride and joy, dog, Sugar.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Darrell Summey officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, September 26 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
