Mr. Oliver “Big Ollie” Dockery Dennis IV, 49, a resident of Lexington, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. He was born on May 18, 1976 in High Point, NC to his parents Kathy Ann Lawson Kennedy and Oliver Dennis III. Big Ollie worked several years as an upholsterer in the furniture industry. He is preceded in death by his father, Oliver Dennis III and stepfather, Eddie Kennedy.

Surviving is his mother, Kathy Ann Kennedy of the home; his children, Lucille Skye Dennis and Oliver Dennis V; his siblings, Chad Anthony Dennis (Marcy), Ben Kennedy (Elise), and Heather Holdaway (Kenny); mother of his children, Amber Edwards; and several extended family members and friends.
