Patricia Kersandra Irving was born in Brooklyn, New York September 22, 1952. She departed this life after 71 years on March 23, 2024 after a short stay at High Point Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by her beloved family and friends.
Patricia, “aka” Pat “aka” Bambi, completed High School in Brooklyn, New York in 1970. Patricia was then employed at AT&T Technologies/Lucent Technology for over 30 years. She retired from the company and enjoyed her life as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her hobbies included traveling, bingo, visiting casinos, and enjoying her family.
Bambi is survived by her 2 sons Andre Irving(Kimberly), and Anthony Irving, 5 grandchildren Andre, Kiana, Patricia, Andrea and Tabitha, and 4 great grandchildren Ramelo, Ravaughn, Bryson, and Sevyn. She will be forever be remembered by her siblings Gregory Irving and Tyrone Toland(Ruth). Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Arthur Irving and Hattie Toland, and sister Doris Irving.
Those who knew Bambi knew that she loved from the depths of her soul. She went out of her way to make everyone she touched feel like family. Being the generous woman that she was, she would give her last and worry about herself later. She was forgiving beyond belief. She always had great, knowledgeable advice to give her loved ones through any situation. She was well known for her boisterous laugh that was extremely infectious. She had the biggest heart that anyone could have, and a very clever and witty sense of humor.
Bambi may be gone from our sight, but will live on in the memories of her family. She had immense love for her immediate and extended family. She was a mentor and dear friend to many and took seriously her call to encourage those who would benefit from her knowledge, compassion, and understanding. We are sure going to miss you Mama, Mama-in-law, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Nephew, Godmother, and Friend. Until we meet again Bambi, YEAH UH HUH!
