Obituary for Patricia Ann Kinnaman

Patricia “Pat” Ann Kinnaman, born on November 4, 1938, in Winston Salem North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, David and Ruby Kinnaman.

Pat is survived by her devoted daughter, Anita Banta, and her cherished granddaughters, Meredith Miles (Joshua) and Abigail Sordyl (Eric). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Logan, Dillon, Jackson Miles, Ashley, Morgan and Reagan Sordyl. Pat is remembered fondly by her loving sister, Lois McGee, as well as her nieces and great-nephews, Beverly Tharpe, Jordan Tharpe, and Teresa (James) Joshua Wright. Additionally, she is survived by a few precious cousins.

A strong and loving matriarch, Pat dedicated herself to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Her professional life included a fulfilling 25-year tenure at Aon Insurance Company, from which she eventually retired.

Pat was an active and passionate member of Lewisville Baptist Church, where she played the organ and the piano and formed deep bonds with her church family. She found immense joy in her faith and in serving others through her music.

A service to honor Pat’s  life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, at 11 AM at Lewisville Baptist Church. A visitation will take place prior to the service at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Lewisville Baptist Church, reflecting Pat’s love and commitment to her church Family.

Pat Kinnaman will be lovingly remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her devotion to her faith. May she rest in peace.
