Patricia Alice Jacob Smith

Patricia Alice Jacob Smith, 65, of Thomasville passed away, Friday, December 26, 2025 at her home. Patti was born September 29, 1960 in Monroe County, New York to the late Ingeburg Braun Jacob. She was a very spiritual woman with a lot of love to share and found comfort in helping others. Patti was most in her element while cooking for her family and tending to her plants. She enjoyed listening to her widely eclectic music collection, singing, and the way the sun felt on her skin. Patti was a maternal figure to many. She lived her life with a quick wit and strength that was like no other. Patti's greatest joy was her time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her earthly life served as a testimony to the power of love, faith, and inner strength. She will be greatly missed by everyone who's lives she touched.

Surviving are her two sons, Kyle Smith and wife Jennifer of Wilmington and Cody Smith and wife Natalie of Youngsville; two daughters, Michelle Bankhead and husband Antonio of Thomasville, Gina Finocchario of Greensboro; two brothers, Stephan Jacob of Thomasville, and Raymond Jacob and wife Deborah of Trinity; two sisters, Phyllis Myers and husband Mike and Gabriele Jacob all of Rochester; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. De Hillyer officiating. No formal visitation will be held. The family request come dressed as you are for the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
