Patricia "Pat" Deese (Dellinger) Stanley

   Patricia "Pat" Dellinger Stanley passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 7th, 1946 to the late Gene and Sue Ellen Dellinger in Newton, NC. She was a member of Fairgrove United Methodist Church where she served in several capacities.  She worked at BB&T for many years until retiring in 2007. To have known Pat was to know the meaning of thoughtfulness, love, and compassion.  She was a joy to be around and above all, enjoyed spending time with the people she loved. 

           She is survived by her son, Chip Stanley and wife Amy of Trinity and her grandchildren, Georgia and Connor of whom she adored. Honorary grandchildren Gabriella and Brenna Morrell. She leaves behind cousins;  Debby, Amy, Jimmy, and Donnie who she loved dearly.  She will be deeply missed by friends whom she considered family. A memorial will be held to honor her beautiful life with Jane Baity officiating at a later date.     

           In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont. 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to her Hospice Nurse, Rachel, who brought much comfort in her final days.
