Paul Everette Mitchell

Paul Everette Mitchell, 55, of Thomasville passed Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center surrounded by his family. Paul was born November 26, 1969 in Albemarle County, Virginia to Herman Mitchell, Sr. and Flora Fay Williams Fogleman. Paul was a handyman through the years and could fix anything. He enjoyed mowing, working on cars, playing with electronics; but most of all spending time with his beloved family. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Mitchell, Sr., his brother, Herman Mitchell, Jr.; and his step-father, William Paul Fogleman.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Barba Mitchell of the home; his mother, Flora “Fay” Fogleman; one brother, William “Matt” Mitchell and wife Christy; one sister, Wanda Keefer; his best friends, Mark Royalls and Kenny Phillips.     

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Park Baptist Church-7593 E. Holly Grove Road Thomasville, NC 27360 with Rev. Dr. Andy Royals officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the church from 12:30PM until 1:45 PM.
