Peggy Roach Bodenheimer

Mrs. Peggy Roach Bodenheimer, 86, of Charlotte, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Atrium Health Pineville.  She was born on January 6, 1939 in Alamance County, Burlington, NC to Robert Roach and Elizabeth Betsy Kilpatrick Roach.  Peggy was a graduate of High Point University. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Cross Moravian Church.  She loved being a part of the YMCA Aquatics Group, the UNC Tarheels, and her horses. She was tirelessly devoted to her children and grandchildren

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Van Bodenheimer on July 12, 2021.

Surviving are her two daughters, Ivy Renee Taucher of Charlotte, NC and Johnnie Elizabeth Parker Gadson and husband Andray Gadson of Pine Tops, NC; her brother, Robert Roach and husband Lindy Kernodle Roach of Clemmons, NC; one grandson, Baden Christian Taucher; and two granddaughters, Ilse Grace Taucher and Roberta Draughn; one Great-Granddaughter, Carson Ivory Powell.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Cross Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Adam Goodrich officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.
