Phillis Ann Wilmoth, 84 of Thomasville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Randolph Hospice Home. Phillis was born June 17, 1936 in Surry County to the late Joe Robert Wilmoth and Melissa Dell Wilmoth. She was a faithful member of Oak Hill Memorial Baptist Church, which she loved dearly. She worked many years as the Plant Manager at Adams Millis. Phillis enjoyed bird watching it brought her great joy and comfort. Phillis was an extraordinary example of a loving, caring and devoted mother; she will be greatly missed. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one son, William Matthew Craver; three brothers, Ralph Wilmoth, Tommy Joe Wilmoth, and Lee Roy Wilmoth.
Surviving is her one son, Mark Craver of Thomasville; her cousin, Jackie Disher and husband Morris and son, Allen Hutchins; she also leaves behind her furry companion, Teddy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph County for the love and care they extended to Phillis during her sickness.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Gary Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Thomasville. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
