Richard Echerd Obituary

Mr. Richard Lee Echerd, 66, of Thomasville passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his home. Richard was born November 19, 1957 in Guilford County to the late Jefferson Echerd and Eula Dorsett Echerd. Richard was a Mr. Fix it. He could fix any and everything. He enjoyed being outside whether it be fishing or hunting. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Echerd and Charlie Echerd.

Surviving is his loving wife, Betty “Katy” Jean Stewart Echerd of the home; five brothers, Ronnie Echerd, Bob Echerd, Jack Echerd, Arthur Echerd, Tom Echerd; three sisters, Jane Stillwell, Betty Varner, and Linda Clark.
