Randy Freeman Obituary

Mr. Randy Hubert Freeman, 74, a resident of Davidson County, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on January 17, 1949, in Davidson County, to the late Hubert Odell Freeman and Edna Pope Freeman. Randy proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. Randy worked as a motorcycle mechanic at Village Cyclist in Clemmons for many years. He loved to ride motorcycles and horses. Randy also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

On April 15, 1975, Randy married Vickie Carmichael Freeman and they enjoyed over 48 years together as husband and wife.

Left to cherish Randy’s memory is his wife, Vickie Carmichael Freeman of the home; a son, Tyler Odell Freeman and wife Cynthia of Thomasville; two sisters, Donna Smith of Wallburg, Tina Williams and husband Ray of Lexington; two grandchildren, Maci Freeman and Miles Freeman. Randy will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at The J.C. Green and Sons funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, with Rev. Barry Carmichael officiating.
