Raymond Hughes Obituary

Mr. Raymond Hughes, 86, a resident of Davidson County passed away on December 05, 2022 at Hinkle Hospice House. He was born on April 30, 1936, a son to the late Sam Hughes and Susan Styles Hughes. Raymond was a graphic artist in the printing industry for most of his working career. He also served his country in the United States Navy shortly after graduating from high school. He loved animals, especially his fur babies Lady and Jack. He was a loving husband and father.

Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Linda Dorsett Hughes of the home; daughter, Tracy Hughes of Thomasville; sons, Dirk Hughes (April) of Thomasville and Dale Hughes (Melissa) of Lexington. He also leaves behind a grandchild, Kevin Hughes.

The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
